Tidbits about our expenses
In Uganda, children have to pay for tests to prove that they attended school. They can sit in class, but if they don’t pay for the testing, it doesn’t count. To provide tuition, school supplies, and transportation, it costs $250 per term (3 terms per year).
Out of the 25 children at the orphanage, there are still 3 children who will need sponsors for school starting in 2027.
Sometimes things come up that we can’t anticipate. A general donation can go towards things like doctor’s visits, a new latrine, livestock, building repairs, and more. If you don’t have a preference for where your contribution goes, this would be a great option for supporting our non-profit.
This is one of the most pivotal aspects of our nonprofit. It costs money to host a website ($192/year), a custom domain ($20/month), a custom email ($77.31/year), etc.—we need technology to reach as many people around the globe as possible. Without any donations, that’s almost $300 just to get information out to you.
